Everplanes is a game of exploration, building, survival and strategy. It is currently Alpha 1 and still evolving. We are introducing new gameplay, resources and challenges in the updates. Each time the game is started, it automatically downloads the latest updates.

Is multiplayer supported?

Yes, the game includes a built-in server for LAN or Internet play. You can run an open server, or configure various levels of access control. Everplanes features a built-in server browser and also includes global chat facility.

What is the advantage of purchasing the alpha release?

As an Alpha member you are entitled to instant exclusive early access as well as free updates all the way up to and including the final release. After final release, there will be further benefits and privileges including priority access to new releases.

Is there a monthly subscription?

No, there is no monthly subscription. When you puchase the game it includes a built-in server and as a pre-order player all updates are free up to and including the final release.

What platforms will Everplanes run on?

Everplanes is available for Mac OS X 10.4+, Windows XP/Vista/7 and Linux. Java 1.5 or better required (free download).

What are the hardware requirements?

We recommend a dual-core or better computer with at least 2Gb of RAM and a mid-range graphics card/chipset. If you have more than two cores, parts of the game engine are designed to take full advantage of these.

How do I make my server appear to other players in the server browser?

If the other players are on the LAN, no additional configuration is required. If you would like your server to appear to players on the Internet, please configure your router to forward TCP ports 21510 and 21511 to your machine. Please consult your router manual for further instructions. We would like to remove this configuration step and this may be possible in a later version of the game.
