The questions :
1. once a model is created and imported in to the world builder will a developer be able to choose from a list of (ai) mods or will scripting be needed ?
2. Will the users be able to create objects from their (client window)?
3. If so, will the user pick from a list of mods for the ai , then only need to provide graphics and models ?
This development sound very interesting, I would like to thank you for your tollerence of me and my questions.
Keep up the good work.
Ed

Hi Edtlov,
Thank you for your comments and questions.
We are still finalising various aspects of the AI subsystem, but I will do my best to respond.
When a model is imported using the World Builder (or created using a previously imported asset), a 'physical entity' is automatically created and persisted with the live simulation. By default, 'physical' entities contain locational and asset mapping data to enable the game client to represent the entity graphically.
It will be possible to build interactivity through various means. As well as basic entity AI which will be data-driven for efficiency, scripting will also be supported to enable more advanced game mechanics. Real-time editing of AI data and scripts will be via the World Builder and be reusable for rapid development.
Best regards,
Richard.

That sounds really good! How far on you into the AI? Im a little new to java, I mainly scripts C++, C#, VB, and I use OpenGL. But I decided to try out java just because of it's browser-play capability, which is very useful.
Good Job! I hope you don't give up on this project, it's too good now.

Hi Zombie,
Thank you for your feedback. The simulation framework has been in place for some time and we are laying the foundations for the AI. We are fully committed to the project and are looking forward to seeing the remainder of the current development schedule through to completion.
Cheers,
Richard.
