Hey guys, just wanted to say hi and mention that the Elflight Engine looks really nice! This is the first of it's kind that I've seen so-to-speak - being able to run directly from the web without requiring a large client download first. It also looks pretty powerful.

What can we expect for beta testing procedures? Will it be released to beta-testers to develop games over... or will you have a controlled test environment for the testers to frollock and cause mischef in ;)

Thanks,

Daniel

Dear Daniel,

Thank you for your feedback and comments.

The focus of the first beta is on compatibility as well as performance across various operating systems, computers and graphics chipsets. It will be possible to login and explore a test world (please see the screenshots and movie on the main website).

Later we will be testing additional modules such as AI. Eventually those that wish to develop their own games will be able to use a version of the Elflight World Builder that we are preparing for Everplanes.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.

Cheers,
Richard.
